| Roulette is one of the oldest and most famous casino games in the world. It is also one of the simplest to play. The game of Roulette consists of a wheel with either 37 or 38 stops,(depending on whether it is played on an American or European roulette whee)l, and a ball that can land with equal chance in any of those stops. The wheel is spun, the ball is turned into the wheel and the players bet on the number they think the ball will land in. Players make bets/wagers by placing chips in the betting areas of the Roulette table. After all bets are placed, the ball is spun and eventually lands on a number. Bets/wagers placed on the winning number or on groups that include the winning number are paid a multiple of the bet. The house collects all other wagers. How to Play To place a bet you put chips on the corresponding area of the Roulette table. You usually choose the chip denomination and then left click on the area of the table you wish to place your bet. On online casinos you have as much time as you like to place bets and usually have to click a "spin" button to proceed. There are 16 types of bets. Most bets/wagers are self explanatory, for example combinations are usually placed by putting the chips on the corners of the corresponding numbers, or to the sides where the table border is. |
